Where we come from

Corporate Bike Solutions is an arm of Summit Bicycles. Which owns and operates a number of different bicycle related businesses. Summit Bicycles has been conducting businesses with corporations and municipalities for decades. From the increase in corporaet business and their growing needs, we have organized all of our skills, products and abilities into Corporate Bike Solutions. An organization solely focused on meeting your bicycle related needs. 

Established in 1922

Starting from the very begining, we start in 1922. 1111 Burlingame Ave was home to Burlingame Cyclery. Which lived there until the early 2000's. By then, Burlingame Cyclery evolved into Summit Bicycles. With multiple bay area locations and primed for the growth to come in the coming years. Summit Bicycles now runs 5 retail locations, their ecommerace site, San Jose Bike Rentals and Beeline Mobile Bicycle Repair for the bay area. Packing a serious bag of tricks for you to take advantage of. 

The leadership

CEO

Ian's first job was cleaning the bathroom of Summit Bicycles Los Gatos. He was 13, hungry for bike parts and ready to work hard. 22 years later he is now CEO of Summit Bicycles and all of it's bicycle related business. He has built 4 of the 5 locations himself. Not afraid to dig ditches, hang drywall or any task necessary to get it done. Visit any Summit Bicycles and you will see how his vision of "What Your Bike Shop Should Be" has created a great cycling experience for thousands of customers. ​

Peter
CFO

Every organization has that individual behind the scenes that makes the magic happen. Peter is that guy. He's that guy with at least 30 tabs open. And then at least half of those tabs are spreadsheets. He drafts memos in cells and columns, and we love him for it. As you may have noticed from the picture, he's shy... But take note, if it seems like there's a wizard behind the curtain making seemingly impossible things happen, there is. It's Peter.
